Evening Words, Wisdom and Beauty

Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers but to be fearless in facing them. Let me not beg for the stilling of my pain, but for the heart to conquer it. Let me not look for allies in life's battlefield but to my own strength. Let me not cave in.
Rabindranath Tagore

We gain freedom when we have paid the full price.

We live in the world when we love it.
Rabindranath Tagore

Trees are Earth's endless effort to speak to the listening heaven.

Beautiful photos once again, I can't decide which one I like more.

Greetings, as a longtime citizen of the Capital City of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, I thought I would start a photo blog displaying my love of photography and incorporate it with my favourite city. Hope you all enjoy my photos (I'll try to add at least one per day) and feel free to submit some requests or comments. Thanks so much.

I have learned to love Tagore from your blog. You teach me everyday to reach for the stars.
The pictures are so beautiful Loved them all, but the trees wispering to heaven was special to me.

I thought because you are From Over the Hill, and I am Life On the Hill (although always in danger of slipping off the hill), that I should sign up. Love your photos.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
