Evening Words, Wisdom and Beauty

Every spring is the only spring - a perpetual astonishment.
- Ellis Peters

Spring won't let me stay in this house any longer! I must get out and breathe the air deeply again.

Oh, yes. We had to get out too. We went to a plant sale, an open garden and the Bellevue Botanic Garden.

I aways thought the saddest title for a piece of music was 'The Last Spring.' I hope there never is one!

Yay Sylvia,

We finally have nice days to explore the outdoors with. The leaves are even coming out on all kinds of plants and bushes. Beauty all around us. Big Smiles.

How true. Every spring IS the only spring. We've seen it happen every year, but each time, it's brand new!

Obviously there was more to Mahler than great music. Enjoy smelling the flowers Sylvia.

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
