Evening Words, Wisdom and Beauty

/\Namaste
We have had sun today so my mood is light! And Monday it's "supposed" to be 70 degrees! If that happens you can probably find me dancing on our deck and throwing offerings of some kind to the gods! May you all have a beautiful evening and a lovely weekend as I leave you with some of Tagore's beautiful words and wisdom.

I seem to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times, in life after life, in age after age forever. ~

Rabindranath Tagore

I have become my own version of an optimist. If I can't make it through one door, I'll go through another door - or I'll make a door. Something terrific will come no matter how dark the present.

Fine words Sylvia.
STOP PRESS
The FINAL re-written 6,000 word long episode of Pip's story 'Paternity' has just hit Journeys in Creative Writing. Now I'll have the time to read others' writing at last.

I like the idea of finding the right door to walk through. It's reminds me of sleeping in the bed that's just right, and not eating porriage that is too hot or too cold.

Hi Sylvia,

I like this because it says, "That there are always options (doors) available to me"

Have a great weekend Sylvia!

I really love your quote about doors. I must try to remember it. I hope you've got a lot of warm and beautiful days ahead of you. Your skies are magnificent.

Sylvia if you dance on your deck throwing offerings to the Gods can you please get pictures. I mean you want to leave us out would you. Another lovely paragraph of inspiration I need to print. Your posts cover my inspiration board you know. Just think here I am over in Australia and your fine words are inspiring me several times a day. Strange isnt it?

Have fun dancing! I've always found the gods love M&M's the best (who can blame them?)

Love the quote about doors--and making them when need be. Absolutely.

I love your blog and always leave it for last so that the music, words and photos linger. Thank you!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
