That's My World

Look around you! What makes up your world? What do you love about it? What do you hate about it? My World is the place you can share that with others and it is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World Team -- Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me! So click on the icon, sign in and not only share your world but have the opportunity of seeing the world of many others! The least expensive way I know to see the very best of all our worlds.

We finally had some sun, I finally had a car and I headed out to my favorite places and a couple of areas I hadn't been before. I never tire of the places and things that I see in my world these days!

To live is so startling it leaves little time for anything else.
Emily Dickinson

All my life through, the new sights of Nature made me rejoice like a child.
Marie Curie

Nature is the art of God.
Dante Alighieri

Learn as if you were going to live forever. Live as if you were going to die tomorrow.
Mahatma Gandhi

It's good to shut up sometimes.
Marcel Marceau

Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are.
Chinese Proverb

It is never too late to be what you might have been. ~ George Eliot

And a moon in a blue sky!

I'm not sure which I like better, Marcel Marceau or Dante, both speak to me.

How beautiful Sylvia. I think Marcel was on to something too bad I can't heed his advice LOL. Stunning photos. Will be soon and I'll be there :)

Sylvia, glad you are back on the road. I love the pictures of the turtles taking in the sun and the Chinese Proverb is my favourite quote. Your header photo is stunning. We haven't had nice weather since I got back, today it is blowing over a 100kph cool and wet and Ontario from whence I came is sunny and 30*C...what gives!!!!

Gorgeous and spring-like shots. Love the blossoms and that moon - fabulous! - it looks as if it is swimming in the pool of the skies.

Sylvia, these are all fantastic images of the world as you see it!
I must confess that looking at the little turtles (snapping turtles, by any chance? *grin*) I had to laugh out loud when I read the capture by Marcel Marceau. The last one, with the moon, is an outstanding work of art. Are you on any site where you offer your pictures for sale?http://www.redbubble.com/ (Authorblog had a post on it)

Love that header photo - beautiful.

The Marcel Marceau quote is too funny - yeah, he really needed to shut up sometimes, didn't he?

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company.
