They're predicting sunshine for the next ten days! But you know how weathermen are! So who knows, but I am SO ready! But I went back to some more old shots and found one of my duck friend that I had forgotten. He was sailing along very properly and I grabbed a quick shot!

And immediately he turned upside down -- I got the message!!

This is just colored reflections that I caught while looking for something in the basement.

And, of course, my favorite sunset reflections!

I love the effect of the light through the green grass.

We too, have been overcast and are looking forward to some days of sunshine. I am so ready for that.

Wow, Sylvia! You always have the greatest glass reflections! I love this green...and the sunset is one to get you up and gazing for sure. What a beauty it is!

The heading is beautiful and your taking the duck's actions as a personal affront, well, that made me laugh. Nice, Sylvia.

You must have some brilliant sunshine in your basement to get such a lovely rich reflection of the green glass!

And upturned ducks always make me laugh.

I know you should be seeing Thom - give him a hug for me. :)

Sylvia,

Just a note to say a big Thank you to all the folks who have commented on your posts and admired the header. Some have even dropped on to my blog and mentioned the same there.

It is so much fun doing a quick surprise fun header for a dear blog friend . And it is doubly wonderful, when all her blog friends appreciate it !

Nice assortment! Those dabbling ducks are so funny, aren't they? Esp. when there are 7 or 8 in a row. ~karen

Your header is really neat -- I like it.
I'm not sure what the duck is trying to tell you, but that is a cute sequence. Both of your reflection photos are stunning.

I really love the reflection created on the green figurine. It looks like the Thai dancers' graceful hands.

Enjoy your weekend!

Your poor duck is lonely, tell him there are a whole lot of ducks down south.

Ten days of sunshine? In Seattle? I think someone's having you on, though it would be wonderful, so here's hoping for you!

Great shots! I love the green glass reflection, and that gorgeous golden sunset.
Hope you get some sun. We're getting rain for the next couple of days, but that's okay because we really needed it.

Isn't it wonderful that we finally have some sunshine? I love the reflection of the green glass but of course sunsets are always my favorite.

I often get that reaction from ducks too.
