That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Click on the icon and share your world with others from all over Our World! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? Have you stopped for a moment to be grateful for it? Sound like an old do-gooder, don't I? Well, I am sometimes, but I do love my world! And here's some more reasons why!

Come forth into the light of things, let Nature be your teacher. ~ William Wordsworth

Each friend represents a world in us, a world not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born. ~ Anais Nin

A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval. ~ Mark Twain

We are all alike, on the inside. ~ Mark Twain

Be grateful for the home you have, knowing that at this moment, all you have is all you need. ~ Sarah Ban Breathnach

When you are not peaceful it is because your eyes are closed to love.
~ Lee Jampolsky

Such beautiful images Sylvia, and your texts are always an inspiration.
My daughter and granddaughter have just driven from Seattle to San Francisco and are now winging their way home. Granddaughter apparently became so excited by the passing scenery, she tok over the camera for some serious drive by shooting. I'm looking forward to the results.

Hugs and blessings , , , Arija

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
