Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the icon and join us! If the icon doesn't work here is the address and you can click on it instead: http://newtowndailyphoto.blogspot.com/

As you know by now, I love watery reflections and another one of those is the reflections of the sun on the water. Sunsets down at the harbor are really breathtaking.

And then there are the many sail boats out on the water when the weather is good! Click on any of the photos to enlarge for a better view.

And the kayakers!

Ah, the "loner" tortoise!

Makes one wish for all mirrors to take the pictures as a role model. Wishing you all a wonderful start into the weekend.

p.s.: it is of great joy to search for pictures good enough for your skywatch - am ever grateful to have discovered this great theme.

I always make your blog one of my daily visits! I love the photos, the quotes, the humor, and truthful insights regarding aging. I'm so happy to see your homage to Bobby and her cartoon portrait with the "Always here" - I really miss my daily visit to her site!

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
