Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the icon and join us! This past week it's been chilly and gray until early afternoon and then we suddenly have blue, blue skies and few if any clouds at all and it's lovely! So, I wandered around in the afternoons visiting my favorite places -- as you can see!

Beautiful sunset reflections!

And the pond.

Reflection of where I spent one afternoon on our deck with a book and a colorful bottle of water!

Hasn't the weather been wonderful? You've been going around taking photos of the sunny evenings and sunsets and I've been shooting the foggy mornings.

Wow. How can anyone not love those two sunset reflections. You should put them in a frame......and send them to me....LOL

Ah Sylvia - your pictures are pure magic to me this week! And I agree with Matty - those sunsets should be framed and hung together!

I love all the pictures. Your weather has been 'chilly and gray'? Ours has been in the 90s and very humid - today there is a code red alert - it is going to be 100 - with heat index, 110. But I still don't mind. I will take 100 degrees over single digit temperature any day :)

Have a great weekend.

I heard from the TV that it is very hot in USA, yet you had a chilly and gray week . Just like mine.

I like the one with the sum extending into the sea to warm the mermaids?

Hi Sylvia. Thank you very much for the kind comments that you left. :) These are all so nice and I keep going back and forth between the top one and the reflected sun on the water as my favorite.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
