Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak. ~Epictetus

LOL so true about listening and farting. I love it. The picture of the mountains in the background is wonderful along with the clouds in the sky. Just awesome. Excuse me I have to fart now. ROFAMAO!

Beautiful photos, Sylvia, and I'm going to remember the one about two ears and one mouth; it's a good one. They all are.

Lovely images and wonderful thoughts as always. The last one by Willa Cather speaks to me as I'm using my older S L O W laptop while running a MalwareBytes scan on the newer one after a nasty Blue Screen Crash this morning (and several over the past few days). Perhaps I should just take Molly for a walk along the beach. Hope you're having a less stressful day than mine. Thanks for helping me calm down a bit ;-)
Hugs and blessings,

(You stupid dimwit)

Hey, it was unsaid and it was certainly unkind. So was it the kindest word? What is this supposed to mean? I kinda get it but not really. Anyway, now you have to keep this as it follows the wisdom, right?:-)

I appreciate the comments about the hug. It sure feels comforting and great to give.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
