Shadow Shot Sunday!

Hey! Shadow hunters! Time to show what shadows you've found -- an in a lot of places around the world that ain't easy these Fall days! But you can do it I know! Shadow Shot Sunday is hosted each week by Tracy at Hey Harriet. Click on the icon, sign up and share what you've found!

I did have to do some digging again this week -- shadows are definitely in short supply these gray winter days! But if you look hard enough, long enough -- well, here's some I came up with.

A lonely duck on a pond near the beach, looking for some sunshine and some company!

Max and Mojo

Who's that following me now?

I was not drinking anybody's anything, Sam!

And back to the kitchen and some of the same old, same old!

Max and Mojo are always cooperative.
And your colored glass is always a welcome sight.

Perhaps this male Mallard is just being reflective and seeking solitude. Or maybe a mate is the intention instead...

The active doggies make playful shadows as they romp or investigate anything their noses pick up. Finally, the angular dish rack make angular shadows, too. All nice takes!

Merry Christmas!

That third shot is my favourite - the dog's shadow seems to imitate the shape of a duck.

What a relief. For a while there I thought I was seeing spots before my eyes. Aren't we fortunate that shadows aren't seasonal? Winter shadows have a charm all of their own (says she nearly expiring of heat). Have a wonderful Christmas.

Wonderful shadows as always ... how wonderful to have sunshine in your kitchen. Once upon a time I did too, but then they built the huge house next door so my kitchen is always in the shade ... such is life.
Hugs and blessings,

Awww...poor lonley little duckie. He actually may be enjoying the peace and quiet. I hope the sunshine came out for him. Your Max & Mojo are delightful. And so big! They look ready to take a ride in that red car! Have a beautiful Christmas Sylvia!

The lonely ducky in sad grey light was boring but it was a thought out intro as the story of the shadows kept getting better and better after that.
