Sky Watch Friday!

Time once again for Sky Watch Friday! Hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Ivar, Wren, Fishing Guy and Louise each week, Sky Watch give us a chance to share our skies and see the skies of others all over the world. Click here to sign up and share yours as well!

Last Sunday as the day began to wind down I noticed some very lovely pastel clouds moving west towards the harbor and Sam Schnauzer and I drove down to see how the sunset was shaping up. These are the shots I want to share with your today.

These clouds are so unlike any I have seen here in Ontario lately. Are these coming down off mountains perhaps?

Sylvia K said...

EG, thanks as always for your kind comments. Those clouds were coming down off the Cascade Mountains, which you can't see because of the clouds. It was a beautiful evening there -- as most of them are!

I love those little scattery clouds - they almost look like a hand print in one of the photos (well, a hand with too many fingers). ;)

Your clouds are lovely and pearly! I would not mind staying awhile to watch until I would not see the sun's glow. Happy Skywatching and a great weekend ahead!

Hi, Sylvia!
In our house Heaven, we call that "drooly clouds" after you-know-who. My dogs bark when clouds get drooly and when clouds don't come at all!

Wow, Sylvia--great series. As you probably know by now, I'm an absolute sucker for this sort of thing. Subtlety frequently trumps drama in matters skywatchy. Thanks for these, and have a great weekend.

You capture and share the most magnificent skies ... your photos always make me smile! Congrats on the interview ;--)

My skies are at Happily Retired Gal this week but methinks you might already have seen them. My memories are scattered because I've been much too busy, but today I'm playing catch up with Google Reader ... finally!
