A New Exercise for Those Over 50

I tried it, I liked it, you will too!!
The older we get the more important it is to incorporate exercise into our daily routine.

This is necessary to maintain cardiovascular health and maintain muscle mass.
If you're over 50, you might want to take it easy at first, then do more repetitions as you become more proficient and build stamina.
Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise program!
SCROLL DOWN..............

NOW SCROLL UP..
That's enough for the first day. Great job.
Have a glass of wine.

Is it my imagination or are you letting your sense of humor off the leash a little more lately? I love it.

Sylvia, I saw your name several times under Michael Horvath's (WM Parenting Connection) postings. Tidbit, I'm his first wife (college sweetheart) that he mentions in his profile. We're still best of friends to this day. We email, and talk about everything, from kids, to spouses, to family, to feelings. He's a wonderful man, that I once loved dearly, and continue to love (as the man he is today). I just joined your blog. OMG, I started with the first days exercise reading. After laughing myself off my chair, I just had to email you! My hubby and I joined as a family the YMCA in DEC. Well, it's almost March, and my tennis are still dusty! Yeah, I'll get there I tell my husband. Right after I finish my carmel latte in the coffee shop below the Y! I saw a tin sign last week at Hobby Lobby that read, I'm too out of shape to exercise! Next week...maybe... Next, I LOVE YOUR pictures you posted. Simply stunning, and the inspiring words. Yes, God created so many gifts around us. We all need reminders to thank him for all that is good. Anyway, thanks for the laughs, the visuals, and for sharing of yourself with others. I look forward to following you :) I don't have a blog, but follow the WM Parenting from Facebook. That's where Michael and I keep in touch too. Take care and bless your life! Laurie (Horvath)-Witte

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
