I'm always saving stuff for a special occasion, and then they break or get mouldy. Thanks for reminding me to stop doing that.

Joan Baez? America's most underrated singer. Not fashionable for the last 40 years, but, boy, can she sing. And stands for something, too.

Ahh...a picture (the last one) from one of my new favorite little parks. What a view from there!

I love these photos and quotes. The first quote is so true and the one by Joan Baez is worth repeating! Your photos are wonderful. I like the dreamy quality to the first shot.

Beautiful images and sayings, especially the Japanese proverb. Your world last winter was beautifully white! We have been busy with company for Thanksgiving and more coming the weekend before Christmas, so my posting and commenting has slacked off.

I love John Greenleaf Whittier. He lived in Amesbury, MA which is quite close to where I live now.
The foam on the rocks looks like a cameo.

I still don´t want to dance whatever you may say.

Beautiful evening sky photos and words of wisdom. The ever so gentle rippling water photo is stunning, Sylvia.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
