Are those blue and red flowers wild? They are so beautiful.

The first one, is like a factory bellowing smoke.

Especially poignant quotes today. I could use some laughter right now. I've been so damn serious all day. Thanks for your caring thoughts on my post regarding war.

That field of flowers and trees in the distance is outstanding. I LOVE it! I love every quote about laughter. It's really what keeps people young and healthy.

Oh Sylvia -- As always I love your photos and well-chosen words. What a great way to start out my day. But sometimes I'm left wanting to know where and when those were taken. I recognized Snoqualmie Falls, but the flower field? OK I know I just need to learn to go with the beauty and relax with it! I shall try.

As usual, I enjoyed the quotes almost as much as the pictures. The first is just so true, but I think the Alan Alda one is my favourite this week.

The sky in the first shot is so strange ... looks like very odd weather. The blue and red flowers ... stunning!

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
