Sky Watch #16

Skies in Oregon and Washington

Click on any photo to enlarge.
It seems that everyday here in Washington and Oregon the skies become more beautiful, a testimony to the fact that there is still so much beauty in the world -- in this case overhead -- and all we need to do is lift our heads and raise our eyes.

Thank you for these beautiful, soothing pictures. I needed that. The sunset...oh, and the clouds, too. There is much beauty in the world, and we do need to focus on it. Thank you, again. Mare

Some of the best skywatch photo's I recall. And, Mare's right. (She seems to be right a LOT). They're very soothing. I feel a little like Atlas shrugged looking at them.

lovely photos, like especially the sunset over the sea. it helps to have clouds to add variety and interest. where i live we seldom have clouds or rain...but i love the warm sunshine every day.

Beautiful skies from out West, Sylvia!
And I agree with you about Obama--restraint, leadership and vision. I'll be thinking about you on Tuesday -- I plan to vote as early as I can.
Happy weekend from Minnesota!

What MARVELOUS sky photos you’ve shared this week. I don’t think I can choose a favorite because each is uniquely beautiful. I’ve shared cloudy skies at Sacred Ruminations today. You've been BOO'd!!! Check out yesterday's Halloween Fun at Small Reflections for details ... and don't miss today's HAPPY HALLOWEEN Haiku Friday too ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
