Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the icon and join us! If the icon doesn't work here is the address and you can click on it instead: http://newtowndailyphoto.blogspot.com/

On our one sunny day this week, I went back to the Bird Sanctuary and found these guys soaking up that sunshine!

And then the leafy, watery reflections that I'm so nuts about!!

I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in order.

I have some shots of turtles sitting on a log like that...I almost posted them today but decided to wait until next week. I must have had a premonition! Aren't they SO sweet?!

Love the turtles! Don't the leaves look great reflected in the water? I like them too.

Love your turtles all lined up! If I had seen them, I would still be there taking photos from so many angles.

The water looks so peaceful.

The last one has a beautiful reflection of the clouds.

The water is so green, looks so refreshing and the turtles would enjoy a swim!

I love turtles and the reflection is great but there is nothing quite like leaves reflecting on the water. I especially like the last one with the leaves, clouds and a touch of blue sky.

Super nice photos! I was sick on our one sunny day this week. Sunday looks promising? maybe?

Kay said...

That third reflection photo is so Monet-like. Love it all!

Ah, your turtles look very contented sunning out on that log. If you disturb them they will slid off into the water with a plop, so shhhh... Don't disturb.
