Shadow Shot Sunday!

Oh, I did miss being able to
play with all of you shadow sleuths last week, but my computer had a serious virus and I had to wait until my computer guru got back into town to fix it up! But I'm back today and can't wait to see what great shadow shots you have. For those of you who don't know about Shadow Shot, it is hosted each week by Tracy at Hey Harriet, click on the icon, sign up and start looking for shadows! One warning! It is addictive!!

You wouldn't know it by looking out my window right now, but we had gorgeous, sunny days last week and these are some of the shots I got!

This lovely goose couple were enjoying being back in the states!!

Such beautiful sunshine, trees leafing out, flowers and lovely shadows!

And back at home it was fun to be able to sit in the sun and read!

Couldn't believe that my colored vase was wearing glasses, too!!

Even the blender was tossing off a shadow!!

The Spring exposition,

Mrs Breeze.

The Duchess of Green
adjusts her hat,
bending
to whisper,
to a tree-in-waiting
attired in pale yellow
who listens
and shrugs...

" These young trees,
will never learn....
Look
at all these
sensible greys,
deep greens,
conservative ,
woody ,
browns.
I never thought
I'd see
someone
in a flouncy white
and purple,
in the front row,
acting up like this !"

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
