Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!!  We've had sun for two days and I'm afraid to look at the weather report for the next two!! My problem now is not having a car anymore, therefore most of the stuff around the house you've seen, but we change a few things, add a few things .....  So, wishing you all a very Happy Valentine's Day -- tomorrow!!

Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the web address under the blog title and sign up to play with us!  Same story as last week -- couple of days with some sun and more gray, plus no way to get down to the harbor or the sanctuary when the sun was around! Thankfully, I still have some from sunnier times! Hope you enjoy!

This shot was taken from a seaplane over Seattle harbor on my birthday a couple of years ago! The flight was a birthday present from my son. It was fantastic!

HOW TO SPOT A METH LAB
As a law enforcement officer I have been approached by several people lately wanting to know how to identify a Meth Lab. Here is a picture of four Labs.  I think it's pretty obvious which one is the Meth Lab.  I hope this helps. Let me know if I can be of any further service in this matter.

MicroFiction Monday

Susan at Stony River Farm hosts Microfiction Monday. She posts a picture and you compose a story in 140 characters. You can click on the link under the title to get further instructions. To help you along she has posted a wonderful link that counts your characters for you! How great is that! You can get the counter at Design 215.

This meme is easy and it's fun! Thanks, Susan for hosting.

And here's the picture for the day!
He sat staring out the classroom window at the clock outside. A cooking class!
How could he have been so dumb to let her sign him up?

And from the brilliant lady in Mumbai!

It's good the finicky head lady has her windows closed. We actually passed off an old clock with a 7 as an inverted 2, as an antique.

Pet Pride!

Can you tell how ready we are for Valentine's Day? Our Humans say we are WAY too early, but you can't take the chance of missing out on the treats!! Right???

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
