Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!!  We've had sun for two days and I'm afraid to look at the weather report for the next two!! My problem now is not having a car anymore, therefore most of the stuff around the house you've seen, but we change a few things, add a few things .....  So, wishing you all a very Happy Valentine's Day -- tomorrow!!

As always, I am drawn to the glassware and stemware in color shadows. THe sun is inching north, so in WA you are able to capture sunny artistry about yur beautiful home. Neat!

Yes - has to be the coloured glass - always my favourite of your shadow shots!

Nicely done as always, Sylvia. My favorite is the upper-left one - somehow the plant shadow looks tropical to me, even though I know it's not. Have a wonderful weekend!

I like the shadows cast by your plant. My mother has one of those, the name escapes me...

Don't worry, just move a couple of things around the house and you'll have new shadows every time :)
Have a good Sunday, week ahead!

Hi Sylvia,

I love the lamp shadow on the wall. It reminds me of the lamps that I have. I love your collages! I've been looking over yesterday's posts too, and they are all breathtaking. Also, I really enjoy your quotes. Thank you so much for sharing everything with us.

God bless and have a wonderful Valentine's Day weekend.

Okay - there is a slight problem and I not real sure where the problem lies. One of us doesn't know what day it is. I woke and thought it was Saturday but now I see it is Shadow Sunday and that means I missed Church again. Oh...bother. :-) Sorry! sometimes I think I am funny. But, I guess I should know better by now becuause my kids have told many times, "Dad you are not funny! You are the only one laughting."

I thought of you yesterday while shopping at Jo-Ann's. They had some colorful vases and plates, should I get some? No, I'll leave those shadows for Sylvia and find my own unique type of shadow.

Well dear Sylvia, another beautiful arrangement of shadows. Hoe strong some of them are, and as usual, i am partial to the colored glass shadows.
Very nice.

Sylvia,
very pretty...the colored glass is most stunning. It reminded me of the red window in my Grandmother's house 'yes, Sylvia's' The window was located upstairs and when the sun shone through it was spectacular! In addition, there was a red velvet chair beneath it :)
Thanks for making me smile with the memory from your photos!
Have a great weekend!

Your collage works superbly with the dark background accentuating both the light and shadows.

Are you feeling the spring in the air, we have definite sigs of autumn although we still are in the most dangerous part of the fire season.

Have a great week my dear.
