It's been a fun week getting to spend time with my oldest son who is visiting his brother and I. And I took another trip to a very different and unusual place which I will be featuring on That's My World, but the two photos on the right were taken there.The first pic has more tree shadows from across the street, then shadows in my office, a shot taken at the Tea Room where I had a fantastic lunch the day of the trip and the last one is of very happy ducks in a pond near the restaurant. Fun day!!

It's been a good week getting to spend time with my oldest son and another interesting trip that the people here planned. I will be writing more about it on Monday, but couldn't resist posting a couple of pics from there.  AND it is also my blogging anniversary! Three years today and 2050 posts!! Well, I always did have a big mouth, but I think the numbers even stunned me!! But it has been some of the best  years of my life and I want to thank all of your for bringing so much beauty and laughter and comfort into my life over the past three years! Hope you all have a beautiful weekend!

50th Wedding Anniversary

A couple were celebrating 50 years together..

Their three children, all very successful, agreed to a Sunday dinner in

their honor.

"Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad," gushed son number one.

'Sorry I'm running late. I had an emergency at the hospital with a

patient, you know how it is, and I didn't have time to get you a gift."

"Not to worry," said the father. "The important thing is that

we're all together today."

Son number two arrived and announced, "You and Mom look great, Dad.

I just flew in from Los Angeles between depositions and didn't have

time to shop for you."

"It's nothing," said the father. "We're glad you were able to come."

Just then the daughter arrived. "Hello and happy anniversary!

I'm sorry, but my boss is sending me out of town and I was really

busy packing so I didn't have time to get you  anything..."

After they had finished dessert, the father said, "There's

something your mother and I have wanted to tell you for a long time. You

see, we were very poor. Despite this, we were able to send each of you

to college.

Throughout the years your mother and I knew that we loved each

other very much, but we just never found the time to get married."

The three children gasped and all said, "You mean we're bastards?"

"Yep," said the father.  "And cheap ones too."

What a gorgeous weekend we have had! Sunday there wasn't a cloud in the sky for most of the day and I headed for the roof!! The individual roof gardens are really in full bloom with lots of beautiful plants and flowers. I also had a good friend bring me a lovely bouquet from her garden! And then there was Mount Rainier!! Hope you enjoy My World today, I know I am!!
