That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and share your world with others from all over Our World! Just click on the post title, read the rules, sign up and play with us! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for?

What a gorgeous weekend we have had! Sunday there wasn't a cloud in the sky for most of the day and I headed for the roof!! The individual roof gardens are really in full bloom with lots of beautiful plants and flowers. I also had a good friend bring me a lovely bouquet from her garden! And then there was Mount Rainier!! Hope you enjoy My World today, I know I am!!

Gratitude is a twofold love / love coming to visit us, and love running out to greet a welcome guest.

Those are fantastic containers for the flowers on the roof, Sylvia. Also, love the quote about how quickly a lie will travel. The header caught my eye as usual, particularly the fellow who is using a turtle for a pillow. These little stick people are blossoming and become more fleshed out every day. Delightful work!!

The container gardens are really cool! I often thought I wouldn't want to live in an apartment, because I would not have access to a garden...proves how wrong you can be!

Have a great week Sylvia.

Gorgeous photos, Sylvia. Seattle is probably the most beautiful city I've seen when the sun is out, although I'd also rank Vancouver up there.

Hi there - I think it must be great to know that the mountain is there even if the clouds cover it. A bit like a big brother/sister you know you can phone if you need a chat!

Well maybe!

Wow, you have a roof garden on your building ? Makes me think of our hotel in Istanbul, with the green grass "beach" and the swimming pool and the wonderful view over the city !

Sadly, I do not think we are going to get to Seattle this summer. My son has just bought a larger home on Baimbridge with a real barn and 2 acres. I am sosososo excited. Guess he really missed the county life of VA. Next year we will be out and get to see the great mountain again. A friend of ours is a guide on Ranier...I cannot imagine doing that for a living. Scary. Your pictures as always are beautiful, and I immediately noticed your new banner. You are one lucky gal. Genie

Beautiful! I love those container gardens, that is exactly what I want to do in our back yard. Sylvia, I posted some pics of downtown Seattle today, from when we were there on the 18th. It wasn't sunny then!

Have a great week,

Kathy M.

I love the raised beds. Heather wants some more but they are a pain to build. Yours look like horse troughs.

I am always a fan of Mark Twain.

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
