MicroFiction Monday
Susan at Stony River Farm hosts Microfiction Monday. She posts a picture and you compose a story in 140 characters. You can click on the icon to get further instructions. To help you along she has posted a wonderful link that counts your characters for you! How great is that! You can get the counter at Design 215.
This meme is easy and it's fun! Thanks, Susan for hosting.
And here's the picture for the day!
She watched the little ones placing the stars in the sky for the night,
she had been like them, but her wings were gone now, as was the joy.

Poor Angel, She Lost it's Wings. Hopefully she will find something just as filling.
Nice one Sylvia, Mine is up and posted, I was busy and created three.
How are you sylvia? Its been a while.. Have a great week..
Your MM is beautiful, Sylvia. I think we're all going to go "deep" this week.
Have a great week!
Loved this Sylvia;
Sad that she lost her wings,.. but maybe
she now gets to come to earth and be a guardian angel. I can sure use her!
Really wonderful take my friend.
Aww--childhood lost, but for memories and children to watch and enjoy. Good one, Sylvia--This was a great metaphor for the loss of the innocence and joy of childhood.
poignant
I like very much your "Microfiction Monday"!
Happy new week, Sylvia!
Oh, I loved this!! I really liked the use of the words "little ones", too. Really great!
Oh how sad. No-one should ever have to grow up if they don't want to. Is it a case of "use it or lose it"? I promise to use my wings this week so they don't disappear.
How sad - you must write a bit more Sylvia - tell me what happens please. I am an optimist and need a happy ending!
That was sad, but very imaginative.
Brought a tear to my eye, this one. A beautiful, sad, and hopeful MM. Loved it.
Have a great week x
Just beautiful, Sylvia!I am afraid I was totally caught up with the little angels and was a tad oblivious to her loss ...
Sylvia...
This was fantastic...Thank You
As my kids are in this stage of launching themselves away from my presence, if not my heart, this is poignant...
I guess there is a time and a place for everything.
This was a nicely crafted MFM

Amazing that you found some words ! this picture doesn't inspire me at all ! it looks so "kitsch"
Nice story.
How sad to think that all joy is gone with the innocence. That was beautiful.
I hope the woman finds her 'wings' and her joy again somehow. Great take on this difficult picture!
She does have that look of longing in her eyes. Interesting take!
Ah, sad! My thoughts on this one were dark so I didn't post.
What a fantastic take on it -- what a character she is! Poor poor girl, but wow, she's turned on my imagination -- I love it!
This is sad, Sylvia. I always wondered what happened to those star placers when they grew old. Now I know, just like the rest of us they sit and watch the coming generation make its messes. :)
Thanks for peeking at my ยต-fict. I am loving these different takes, yours is a little bit sad. [Sorry I'm so late in getting here.]
