Oh, it was gorgeous here yesterday and I was looking forward to doing lots of shadow chasing and then, wouldn't you know it, I began to have computer connectivity issues that went on for most of the day and it cut my camera fun time down considerably! But I got a few shots -- hope you don't get bored with different versions of some of the same stuff!! Hopefully, next week will be better!
First is Sir Sam!
And there was quite a gathering at the duck pond! I suspect it was a political rally! And I think the one duck in the water is telling the others what he thinks of their politics! Oh, and I do so relate!!
Colorful fish that came to swim in my kitchen window!
Then I saw some of my favorite toys had grown quite tall in the late afternoon sun!

I like the though of fish swimming in my kitchen window! I captured a coloured glass shadow this week too and I thought of you as I snapped it! Happy Shadow Shot Sunday.
I hope it was a bi-partisan rally! : )
Love the fish and of course, the glass (love that 'tradition'). Sir Sam always brings a smile to my face!
I hope you have a great weekend! Sorry I didn't stop by your SSS last weekend-I was in a 2 day Japanese dyeing workshop.
could never grow bored with your photos...the are lovely as always...
darn computer problems anyway!!!
have a great week!! and a healthy computer.
Pictures with shadows, what's this, some kind of game or what?! :)
Happy weekend Sylvia,

So if Sam sees his shadow, do we have six more weeks of summer?
Love the last shot...of course...
Sam is a cute dog, with a shadow of elegance and dignity. Sir Sam is a perfect title! The ducks again, we love waterfowl in our home, so these webfoot birds are always welcome. I lobe your colorful shadows!
Agile shadow-fish,
swimming toward the light, may you
find a tasty bite!
What a handsome dog he is!! And of course I love the coloured glass shadow! Have a good weekend, Anne
Great shadows and I love the way you got the color and shadows on that last one. Great job. OBTW several people who commented on my "Monochrome Lake" post for Phun Phriday! wondered how it was done, so I posted a tutorial on it today. If you're interested just click here. Thanks for dropping by and your comment.
How could we get bored with such an entertaining post??

I do have a partiality for the colored shadows. I guess they remind me of little rainbows. Have a wonderful weekend, Sylvia.
Colored glass shadows, beautiful. And I like the one with the fish in the window!
lovely shots. those fish are awesome.Beautiful.
Have a sunny weekend, Sylvia.
Lovely, as usual. Those carved fish leave a nice shadow and add such pretty color to your window too! (And they don't cost a thing to feed!!)
I especially love Sam and his shadow. :)
Sam and his shadow are exchanging worried looks. Maybe they're wishing Mom would play with them. The ducks have found a nice place to enjoy summer weather.
The ducks are fabulous! (And Sam is so cute!)
Girl, you just have the most fun stuff, as always I enjoy the shots of you hounds...my daughter and I always call schnauzers 'stiff hounds', cause when you groom them them TOTALLY stiffen up...too funny!
Have a good one friend!

Buona giornata.
Let the sun shine in!
These are gorgeous! I love Sam best - especially his eyebrows! I think they even make up part of his shadow (I think!). The duck pond looks lovely too. I bet Sam enjoys chatting to them!
Have a super lovely week Sylvia!
Wonderful images...that little Sir Sam is a real cutie!!
Jeanne:)
I love your shots with the colourful bottles! There are shadows as well as reflections. A nice lesson in physics!
Oh what fun! I agree that the colorful bottles are very cool. Sir Sam looks like he is wondering what that dark spot is.
The first picture is great -- Sam is seriously studying his shadow! I also like the ducks.
lovely pix! Sylvia, shadows seem so surreal!
Beautiful shadow shots!
Shadow Shots
I like the dog one the best!
Those fish in the window are great, and the tree shadows outside could be taken for drops on water with a little imagination...
Thanks for coming by!
Sir Sam, he makes such great shadows, and he's very cute. Love the fish shadows too.
I never get tired of your shdows! You always have such a variety. Love your dog and the coloured glass best!

I enjoyed the political rallies. Too bad that one small fish got caught in the fight between the two big fishes.

All nice shots! I love all the turtles lined up on the log in the duck pond:) Happy Sunday Sylvia! Hope your connection is behaving today.
I love Sam's curly, rounded shadow!
