For This Weekend Only - Weekend Reflections, Shadow Shot Sunday and Pet Pride!

Well, unfortunately I'm not going to be able to go camping this weekend after all and I am, of course, disappointed. But some back problems made me decide I would be better off remaining at home -- don't want to push my luck. So, this week only I will combine my reflections, shadows and pets. Hope you all have a terrific weekend! Enjoy!

I thought we were going camping! What happened?

You are going, silly! It's Mom and I who are staying home! Darn it!

Sorry that you can't go camping this weekend. Though with the clouds and chance of rain, I suppose that this is a good weekend to miss if you have to.

I love the glass in the window. So colorful.

Hello Sylvia

So sorry to read about your back problems - I hope the rest this weekend will do it good and that you'll soon be able to go camping again.

I don't participate in the other memes you have in your post today so it was nice to see some shadows and your beautiful dogs aswell as that lovely reflection.

Rest well :) Rosie

Wow, sorry you can't make it out for the camping trip. But you know, while the dogs would have loved to go they are just as happy being at home taking care of you. :-) Great shots too, by the way. I love the colors in the glass! I don't mean to rub salt in the wound, but we are heading out for a week at the coast. Perhaps I'll make an image that can help get through the week.

Take care

Have a healing weekend.

What a shame about the camping trip Sylvia, but I think you are wise to listen to your back. Mine isn't that great these days, though camping does sound like a lot of fun. Lovely photos! And I am in love with your area after our third trip to Seattle. We'll be heading out that way again one of these days and I'm hoping for more time so that we can meet up. That would be lovely :)

Fantastic reflection in the first image. «Louis» really likes the play of the sunlight through the colored glass in the window sill in the second image.

Ouch! Take care, Sylvia - you were wise not to go, though it's disappointing. Love your shots and I'm sure Sam will enjoy having you all to himself for a while :-)

Do dogs get disappointed if they don't get to go out?

Take plenty of rest, like my mum use to say, the camping ground will still be there when you are better.

I'm so sorry that you missed out on your camping trip due to back issues. You poor thing! I hope you recover quickly. Take things easy and rest up over the weekend :)

I am terribly partial to the colored shadows. I am finding all these muscle and back/butt aches really annoying. I've just bought a bottle of Motrin to get me through this.

Lovely photos, as always! Hope your back is better soon - back problems are really awful (I know).

But I'm not really a camping fan - I'd probably be tempted to fake a backache just to avoid having to camp out!

Happy Sunday! from Joy @ Joysweb
