That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and share your world with others from all over Our World! Just click on the post title, read the rules, sign up and play with us! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for? While my daughter was here over Christmas, my son, Adam, and his beautiful friend took us for some sightseeing including the Seattle Science Museum. It was a fun day!! The last photo is of my daughter, Robyn, Adam and me. Amber took the pictures of our fun day together!!

All I know is just what I read in the papers, and that's an alibi for my ignorance.

The view on the second shot is so 'perfect' that it seems you've been shooting a model. Great, Sylvia!

What a fantastic photo of you and your son and his lovely friend. I am reminded of how pretty Seattle is. I love the lamps at the lookout area and the space needle is looking very tall and elegant, indeed!

You look so happy to have both Robyn and Adam with you, Sylvia. What a wonderful surprise Robyn's arrival must have been!
I always enjoy your photos in and around Seattle, although I'm not quite sure how you got a picture of the top of the Space Needle. I remember when it was new, and SO exciting.

Thank you Sylvia! I llike the quote about the comedians and the politicians. May be they won't be shot, if we treat the politicians like comedians.
Thanks for sharing and I wish you a wonderful week!

Hi Sylvia...I'm amazed to see the beautiful places you visited with your family. So different from Texas! I've been to the California coast, but not anywhere near the Northern part of the Coast. Wow! It's really beautiful.

It was neat to see your photo with your Son and Daughter. Now about the Small West Texas Town on my PhotoBlog. It is Melvin, Texas which is located between San Angelo and Brady which is on the way to Fredricksburg and San Antonio. It's about an hours drive from San Angelo, and we happened on it quite by accident on a PhotoShoot Outing. Melvin use to be a thriving farm community, but is now almost a ghost town. Sure made for a fun photo shoot though...love the old buildings and relics of the past.

We are having our first real cold spell of the season this week. I'm staying in by the fire, knitting on a sweater and drinking hot chocolate. Hope your staying warm, too. Thanks for stopping by...see ya again, soon....Sue

Sylvia, you really have some great photos. I also get a kick out of your banners as well, ever changing. At one time I believe you mentioned who was creating the banner photos, if you get a chance, would you please refresh my memory? Thanks! Great post this week!

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly.
