Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

Matisse. Makes me think of the idea that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. Beautiful post. Thanks. Have a super week!

Sylvia, I have not been able to get to your site (and some others) for a while. My old computer XP, IE 6) started acting strange after a power failure. I just got a new one (win7, IE8) so should be good for a while.

Your recent political quotes are right on, especially with events in Washington this past week! And your skies have been super! Good luck on your move and I hope you enjoy your new abode.

Et tu, Sylvia?!? I've got a serious crush on tulips, and it does not help with so many of you sharing their beauty...

I like the sunlight hitting the tulips. Great photo to turn into a painting.

OK -- that last quote resonates! I have been feeling lonesome for Spring flowers (the kind that Seattle and Eugene have -- and Florida does not. But we DO have flowers (literally AND figuratively) and I need to stop missing what I don't have and enjoy what I do!!!

Your pictures (as always) are stunning.

Thanks.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
