Beautiful and exhilarating skies, Sylvia, as well as good quotes.

Great photos. I absolutely love the Robert Louis Stevenson quote. I don't totally agree with the Dyer quote. I think many people are at their best when they are scrambling.

I hope everything goes well with you Sylvia. We are having some possibly major work done for our A/C system. Believe me, in Tulsa you need Air Conditioning.

You have some beautiful sky photos in this set. I really like your second picture. I'm afraid that Voltaire's comment is all too sadly true.

Another set of stunning skies, Sylvia. What I learned here today is that the phrase I so often repeat was also said by Voltaire: common sense is not so common! :-D

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
