Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!!

Well, the big moving day will be next weekend so I'll be missing, but I'll be back the following weekend with new pics! This week is a few of the same old, same old except for one -- two SSS blogging friends meeting and enjoying lunch together! That is always fun! Catherine from Mexico on her way to France was in Seattle recently and we got to meet! Wonderful!

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter Weekend!

Take me down to the harbor, Sylvia, so that I may gather armfuls of shadows!

EVEN IN SHADOW

Even in shadow where there is no light,
One may take comfort and one may delight
That darkness has lost its power to thrall
Those who are living on this earthly ball.

What a fantastic photo of you both Sylvia. Hope all goes well with the move - do share some pictures, I love anything like that!

Your old home still has excellent shadows. The boats all leave reflections, but when they can travel out of their docks and anchorages, the shadows will take sail, too. Meeting blog friends is always fun, we learn so much before about them, but the meet is always special. Nice!

Oh how exciting that you and Catherine were able to meet up! I keep thinking how fun it would be to have a big shadow shooters meet-up. Would be quite the challenge to organise. And expensive! If I win the lotto maybe I can organise something! All the best with your move next weekend Sylvia and see you in two weeks!

Happy Easter too! :)

Nice shadows.

Good luck with the move!
We're removing old wallpapers. We know what it is to live in and renovate - moving stuff from one place to another and back... :) But we do it for ourselves. Mid May everything should be ready.
Enjoy rest of the Easter weekend!

Good luck with the move - remember, make up your bed as soon as possible, so that when you get too tired to do any more unpacking, it is there waiting for you!! (And make sure you know which box the kettle is in!!)

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
