We've had three gorgeous, sunny, warm days!! I went from taking pictures of my rain spattered windows to my first decent capture of Mt. Rainier in the space of one day! Fantastic! The blue skies and Rainier are getting ready to disappear again in the next couple of days, but, oh, I have enjoyed what we have had -- as you can see!! You can click on the pic to enlarge. |

lovely mosaic!
I love your blog header this time around, Sylvia. So playful and fun. And by the look of your captures you truly did enjoy the beautiful albeit temporary sunny weather. :)
I love how Mount Rainier and the other volcanic mountains just rise up dramatically where you can see them a long ways away.
Wow, what a view!
Thanks for sharing your view Sylvia! That's an interesting mosaic. Have a great week.
Wonderful quote and photos!
What a beautiful mosaic, Sylvia. I love the quote and will remember it from now on! I always return here to see what header you have next. Hope you're having a great day. Blessings. Jo

I love the variety you showed us Sylvia. The snow capped mountains are so beautiful.
And for those of you who have asked, all the views are from my desk except Mt. Rainier and that I took from the deck on the roof of my building. Terrific view when it's clear!
Sylvia
lovely collage. the sunset image is wo warm.
Beautiful collage, I really like the mountain with snow on the top and the sunset are lovely! What a great world we are living in :)
Yes, I much prefer the sunny view!
Beautiful scenic photos, Sylvia! I love the view of MT Rainier. You do have lovely views there. Thansk for sharing and have a great week!
Sunshine in Seattle? It sounds like the name of a movie - in any case, great shots, Sylvia. The Mountain is spectacular, the only time we saw it in our week was flying in, when a little bit was peeking out of the clouds.
Wonderful photos Sylvia and your header by the lake makes me want to draw up a chair and settle down with a good book!
O what stunning views that beautifully change with light and weather!
Gorgeous, Sylvia, especially with Mt. Rainier in the middle and the rainy shot in the bottom left. Love it. And I'm going to snaffle that Churchill quotation. It's SO true.

Beautiful mosaic. There is so much beauty in your world.
These collages and your thoughts a la Churchill are beautiful.
Your world is truly beautiful.
Gotta love those blue skies after days of rain, Sylvia! Mt Rainier looks like it's floating in the air. I like your new summery Header.
Are these all from your new home? Great views regardless. I don't think the mountain has been out clearly in any of my visits to Seattle.
wow ! what a sight is Mt Rainer
Oh Sylvia -- so beautiful! Maybe having the mountain "disppear'on those gray days makes it all the better when when it just shines like this!
superb collage!
Lovely images. Thanks for dropping by my blog. Hope your day is a good one. :)
Blue skies look more vivid after several days of rain. Mt. Rainier is beautiful, I think it looks like our Mt.Fuji with its cone shape spreading gently toward the foot. I'm a bit envious of you for having such a wonderful view out of your window. It's a luxury in real meaning. I'll keep today's quote in mind and practice. Thank you for everything, Sylvia. Have a nice week.
Living within sight of such a majestic wonder as Rainier has got to do something to your perspective and psyche...
Lovely combination and arrangement of pics.
Gorgeous views, even through raindrops ! We finally had some long expected rain, the farmers are happy ! the rest of us less ;)!
Ess beautiful mural with all photos and a very successful quoted Winston Churchill

Hi there - very nice picture of a good looking mountain. The picture sent me back into my "archives" to have a look at some slides of Mt. Rainier I took many moons ago - would have been nice to have had a digital camera at that time - but I don’t think they had been invented yet!! Slide night anybody??
