That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and share your world with others from all over Our World! Just click on the post title, read the rules, sign up and play with us! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for?

We've had three gorgeous, sunny, warm days!! I went from taking pictures of my rain spattered windows to my first decent capture of Mt. Rainier in the space of one day! Fantastic! The blue skies and Rainier are getting ready to disappear again in the next couple of days, but, oh, I have enjoyed what we have had -- as you can see!!  You can click on the pic to enlarge.

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
Winston Churchill

I love your blog header this time around, Sylvia. So playful and fun. And by the look of your captures you truly did enjoy the beautiful albeit temporary sunny weather. :)

I love how Mount Rainier and the other volcanic mountains just rise up dramatically where you can see them a long ways away.

And for those of you who have asked, all the views are from my desk except Mt. Rainier and that I took from the deck on the roof of my building. Terrific view when it's clear!

Sunshine in Seattle? It sounds like the name of a movie - in any case, great shots, Sylvia. The Mountain is spectacular, the only time we saw it in our week was flying in, when a little bit was peeking out of the clouds.

Wonderful photos Sylvia and your header by the lake makes me want to draw up a chair and settle down with a good book!

Gorgeous, Sylvia, especially with Mt. Rainier in the middle and the rainy shot in the bottom left. Love it. And I'm going to snaffle that Churchill quotation. It's SO true.

Gotta love those blue skies after days of rain, Sylvia! Mt Rainier looks like it's floating in the air. I like your new summery Header.

Are these all from your new home? Great views regardless. I don't think the mountain has been out clearly in any of my visits to Seattle.

Blue skies look more vivid after several days of rain. Mt. Rainier is beautiful, I think it looks like our Mt.Fuji with its cone shape spreading gently toward the foot. I'm a bit envious of you for having such a wonderful view out of your window. It's a luxury in real meaning. I'll keep today's quote in mind and practice. Thank you for everything, Sylvia. Have a nice week.

Hi there - very nice picture of a good looking mountain. The picture sent me back into my "archives" to have a look at some slides of Mt. Rainier I took many moons ago - would have been nice to have had a digital camera at that time - but I don’t think they had been invented yet!! Slide night anybody??
