Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the web address under the blog title and sign up to play with us!

We've had our usual variety of weather, but it is getting consistently warmer and that's lovely!!  I'm counting the days until next Sunday when my oldest son arrives!!! Wishing you all a very wonderful weekend!

Wow - each reflection is beautiful in its own way. The second one is mesmerizing. The third one is so inviting, the fourth one is beautifully different, and of course, the first one, well, what can I say? I love it!

Hey Sylvia-
I like that 2nd watery leaf reflection. Kind of abstract and daydream-ish.
You always have the most beautiful sunset shots.
Have a wonderful weekend. Glad to hear your son will soon be around.

Another Mark Twain quote I like. Sounds like some churches have been needing reforming for some time. :)

My little post is so wimpy compared to your beautiful shots I am a bit embarrassed. MY favorite is the one of the bedroom. It is so dear. You are just the best. I especially enjoy you wonderful quotes. Once again, yours are so fine compared to mine. Your blog is a real inspiration for me. Thanks for all you share. Genie

Hard to choose a favorite photo OR quote... but it's laughter that has been my savior through life's challenges... then again, gratitude sure played a big part. A gorgeous sunset always makes my heart sing... Super to have a joy to look forward to, as well, hey, Sylvia?

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
