Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!! I took another fun trip this week to the most amazing nursery I've ever seen! And it has been such fun to spend time on the roof with all the flowers and plants and the breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier! Hope you've all had a great week, enjoy your weekend and find reasons to laugh and smile!

The flowers in the first photo seem to be relishing the shade!

SHADOW DANCE

Shadows left and shadows right;
Shadows dancing through the night;
Shadows crouching on the wall;
Shadows spring and shadows fall
On the unsuspecting guest
Who thought shadows offered rest!

Shadows here and here

The nursery is indeed unique, with nary a bag of mulch and manure in sight - no doubt they sell these, too. But the view as we enter in more of nature, the plantings and tree shadows start to give us design ideas from the moment we enter.

Lovely capture of a place that gives us ideas of stylish natural details to enhance our homesteads. Have a nice week!

I finally visited Gappa, the blog of your artist-friend, and have added her to my blogroll. Thanks for posting her website address, Sylvia. I find India very intriguing.

The broad tree of green is my favorite... how many have enjoyed her shade over many, many years?

Wishing you a wonderful weekend, mon amie! (amie, for females)

That does look like a beautiful place to browse. And like Ralph said, with nary a bag of mulch in sight.

The full tree is lovely. It must be so old!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend as well ;-)

Good midsummer shadows, Sylvia! I like the deep shade on a hot day!

As for sleeping with a camera: do you think then we could photograph our dreams? ;-D

All great quotes, Sylvia. It just so happens we have a family member who is struggling to find happiness. If only she understood that happiness depends on ourselves and not on what other people will do for her. Hmmm.

Love your shadows this week. It means the sun was out! :)
