My World!

As you know, we will no longer be hosting My World as it was Klaus Peter's project from the beginning and it will go with him. I just thought that I would continue to share some of my favorite places with you -- not in a meme, but just on my blog on Mondays, in memory of Klaus.

This past weekend I went with a group to a place called Warli. It is across the Sound from Seattle. It is surrounded by mountains on one side and the city on the other. There are beautiful beaches, gorgeous flowers and delightful places to eat. It was a fun day, as you can see here!!

So many wonderful places!

I'm so sad to hear that My World will stop. It would be lovely if it could continue as a way of remembering Klaus. I'll miss all my My World pals!

I hate to see My World go, but I'm glad that you'll be continuing to share.

Sylvia, What a nice tribute to Klaus to continue sharing "Your World" on posts, and what a treat for us each Monday. Your photos are lovely (the flowers are simple gorgeous). You are always "out and about" doing something fun--how wonderful. Have a good day. Micke :)

Although I've been to Seattle many times to visit friends, they've kept Warli a secret from me! (well, I'm sure that's not really the case but it sounds dramatic). Seems like a really fun place with lovely sights. Your inspiring quotes that anchor the photos are so well chosen.

The PNW boasts some of the most spectacular scenery, and Worli clearly is no exception. You World is beautiful. Glad you had a wonderful sunny day outing, Sylvia. Although I could not always participate, My World Tuesday was a terrific meme... I join others in feeling sad that it is no more, but I respect your decision.

There are so many things that make us feel happy - your photos are talking so, Sylvia.

My thoughts are with ladyfi. While I was away from the blogging, Klaus passed away. I didn't my last contribution to My World, that's a shame. Thanks to you all, I think I could find more joy and be more confident in blogging by posting each week. The light of Klaus is sorely missed, but I'd like to believe he'll be watching us with his light and smiles.

Sylvia - a wonderful pictures in tribute to Klaus, I am sad to hear the news about Klaus and that 'My world' will be ending but it is the right thing to do. I have enjoyed sharing my world and seeing many others.

I am glad you will be continuing to post on Mondays, I will come and visit to see parts of your world.

Wonderful shots from your world Sylvia. I didn't know about the decision until I went to Sandy's blog and then to My World page. I updated my post to indicate the decision and tell people they could read about it at the home site since I've noticed a number of other blogs had a My World post this week and were also unaware of the decision. I'm with you and Sylvia, I'll continue looking around my world and posting when I have something. Klaus was such an inspiration and amazing photographer.

From Seattle area to Vancouver in BC our worlds of have similar weather patterns and terrain. This week is certainly no exception and (in the distance) I think I see the same umbrella on your beach as in mine. Klaus’ passing has left a void for lovers of his work as well as My World. His meme was a welcoming home for many new bloggers who sought an outlet for their pictures and words. I am so glad you are continuing with your weekly posts about your spot on the planet and sharing it with the world, Sylvia. :)

These are wonderful photos of a very beautiful place - I'll need to add this to my to-visit places next time I'm in your part of the world. I'm sorry to hear that the wonderful My World Tuesday meme won't be continuing, it was one of the memes I've most enjoyed over the last couple of years - I always looked forward to seeing what people had come up with for the week!

I didn't know about the decision to stop MY WORLD altogether. I have a post today and I have no decision yet if I'll continue doing it on my own or seek other memes to do on Mondays.

Are you and Sandy and Wren brainstorming about a new meme to replace MY WORLD?

Hope this week is smooth sailing for you.

I also have a post for "My World", as I didn't know that it stopped.

That beach is beautiful as are your flowers -- what a lovely post. I didn't always have anything that worked for My World, but I loved the meme and will miss it, but I completely understand your decision. Again, I am sorry. I'm sure many of us will continues to post when they have something that would have worked well with that meme and each time we will think of Klaus (and the rest of you who made it so much fun).
