Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

Kindness is more important than wisdom, and the recognition of this is the beginning of wisdom.

Theodore Isaac Rubin

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

Hi Sylvia! Thanks for the wisdom and more so for the giggles from the antics of the children in church.

Gorgeous photos - that last one is spectacular! And I love your new header, it's so cute! Socks appreciates the pat and asks you to give Sam a special treat tonight. Have a great rest of the week!

Beautiful pics, you just keep them coming Sylvia.

Great quotes. I heard once that it is nice to be important but even more important to be nice. Kindness is wonderful.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
