Our World Tuesday!!

Time for "Our World" again! This is a wonderful way to find the beauty, the fun, the good and even the bad things about Our World and to share them! Hope you will join us! Click on the link  to go to the Our World site and sign up!!

We've continued to have some gray and chilly days, some sunny pleasant ones, fog, and flaming sunsets. The temps are mild and it is a beautiful time of the year in Seattle. Some good friends from Portland were in town and took me to our favorite place -- Pikes Market, where I got a new shot of one of my favorite things -- the colorful peppers!  Hope you enjoy a peek at my part of Our World today!  Have a wonderful week!!

Lovely shots! BTW, why do they tie up peppers like this, in India I've seen people tying up dry chillies n lemon like this and hang in front of the houses/shops to ward off bad luck/evil spirit!

My post on Our World is here.

Lindy and Dick and I are thrilled with your new header, Sylvia. I checked out the header blog, and I notice I missed one (the one with the leaf). I must have been asleep. It's so cute. You and Suranga sure do have a lot of fun with those headers.
Lindy wants me to bookmark this page because it has her name on it. Nothing humble about Lindy.

The third shot is so peaceful and beautiful. Peppers are hung like this in most of the shops in India to ward off the 'evil eye'!

Hi there - what a range of colours! But I have to say I like the muted colours of the misty street as well - that's such a seasonal look.

Sylvia,
Always, your photos and words are amazing!! Especially I love the third one. In a fog, scenery looks so different; it is covered with quiet tenderness. I am wondering if a bundle of colorful peppers is a charm.
Sylvia, your header makes me smile. Funny and warm!
Best wishes,
