Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!!

The sun is playing hide-n-seek these days and you have to be pretty quick! I haven't been able to get out, so I'm dependent on the sun that occasionally creeps into my apartment. I'm sure all of you know my apartment as well as I do these days! Ah, but one day the sun will hang around long enough for me to do something different -- I hope!!  And, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, with lots of sunshine and lovely shadows!

May I be a bit "snotty," Sylvia? I like the shadowy tissues! (Couldn't resist being punny this morning!)

SHADOW SHOW

Shadows creeping through the land,
Shadows dark on every hand—
If they should begin to glow,
You had better run, you know!

It's hard to believe the normal SEATAC weather is gray and mist, at least when we see your home! The sun adds a brightness and warmth, the welcome we all enjoy. Nice as always!

These are nice shadows on the wall. I like the ones with the curtains, almost reminds me of my grandmas bedroom right before dusk. Have not thought about that in years....funny how a photo will bring a memory back. So glad I stopped by. Have a great weekend.

Once again Sylvia...perfection. It's like well......'coming home' when we visitors stop by here on Sundays.

And yes, I would recommend that book - I'm almost done reading it from cover to cover [The Voodoo Queen - A Novel] ---she was a most fascinating lady.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
