Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the web address under the blog title and sign up to play with us!

I was rather wistfully looking back over photos from around the harbor and decided to share a couple of favorites from some older captures and, of course, that meant one of my turtle friends, too! The last shot I took of the area on the fifth floor where my apartment is. There is a small sitting area near each elevator, big windows and sometimes some colorful reflections!!  Enjoy your weekend, turn off the news, turn on the music and look for the beauty around you! It's always there, sometimes we just have to look a little harder!

Three very nice contributions, but I fell completely for that lonely sail-boat in the sunset very nice atmosphere.

Those orange hued skies are absolutely stunning. I also like the little bow and the vase of flowers.

Thanks you so VERY munch for your kind and encouraging words about my photos this week. I cannot begin to tell you what a gorgeous place we were...and it was the time we got off the beaten path and plan to go down a road that looked interesting. There we were at a gorgeous state park of which we knew nothing. To live almost on the border of VA and WVA, we know little about WVA. Trust me...we will be going back. My shadow shot is form another state park we went to which was ethereal in its beauty. I am glad you liked the quote. Each week I think of you and your fabulous quotes when I am searching the internet for words that will go along with my pictures. Your shots this week are gorgeous as always. Maybe one of these days we will get back out there to see my son on Bainbridge and then we will have to have coffee. By the way, I adore your Seattle clock. I need to put one on my blog so I know what time it is on Baimbridge. Hug, genie

Lovely shots, Sylvia' that's a wonderful sitting area where you live. I'm not sure how it is for Sam, but Socks gets too many treats already! Whenever we eat out my wife keeps something to give him when we get home! Anyway, have a great weekend and give Sam a pat from us.
