Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the web address under the blog title and sign up to play with us!

The turtles have returned, the harbor skies are as lovely as ever and the boats are ready to set sail! How about you? Are you ready to play with the reflections for the day?  Wishing all of you a beautiful weekend with lots of love and laughter!!

Ditto what Pat says - this first one, whew! The sad part is that I don't see a lot of humor in Washington these days... Have a terrific week, Sylvia!

That last quote is divine, as is the last image. And of course your sunsets are always amazing. Happy weekend Sylvia.

What an amazing sky in that first photo! And those water characters don't seem to mind sharing their corner of the world! But I love those boats most of all! I think of magical journeys waiting!

Beautiful images, I love the way the sun has found a break in the clouds in the first shot and is spotlighting on the water, couldn't agree with Erma Bombeck more, I know it's not possible in some circumstances but laughter everyday is so very therapeutic. Hope you have a lovely weekend Sylvia.

Knock you off your feet beauty in these shots. What fine reflections. You have a special way of finding and capturing the most beautiful images. I love looking at your work. genie

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
