Our World Tuesday!!

Time for "Our World" again! This is a wonderful way to find the beauty, the fun, the good and even the bad things about Our World and to share them! Hope you will join us! Click on the link  to go to the Our World site and sign up!!

As my world begins to settle down after Christmas and before I take on a new year, I spent some time looking around my world today! From my bedroom filled with golden light, to the amazing skies and a chance to see the magnificent Rainier! I happened to look up to see a plane overhead and for a moment I felt as though I was seeing my world from up in the skies! So, I'm sharing those views of my part of Our World today!

Hope you had a great Christmas Sylvia. Great to see a quote from Proudhon, I'm not an anarchist but he is such an interesting historical figure.
Thanks for all your comments on Clarence Valley Today, I really appreciate them. God bless.

Beautiful views of the sky over your world, Sylvia. Don't think I'll get an "Our World" post up this week, Michael and his folks are keeping me busy.
Hope you had a great Christmas and that the New Year will be full of Joy.

The light plays nicely on the lacey curtains and on the mountain slope, Sylvia. Also like the header and think good health is the key to all the rest. :)

Great picture of Rainer and Max's quote was not bad either.

You certainly have picked a great spot to settle down in Sylvia. Your skies and light are amazing and of course to be able to be face to face with Rainier whenever he decides to show himself must certainly be a constant surprise and joy.

Our Christmas was quiet as well. We celebrated with my daughter's family rather late on Christmas eve as all the children worked 'til after 6p.m. We had dinner at 10p.m. with presents under the tree 'til after midnight.
Christmas day we had a quiet day, just the two of us and a bunch of decorated pine twigs in a vase.

My sister has been in the hospital again for another transfusion. We all hope so much that she at least makes it to her 80th birthday in May . . .

Love and hugs . . . Arija

Lace curtains, pretty lamp, potted plant all make beautiful shadows in the morning light, love this image Sylvia, not a bad sight to awake to at all! Sounds like you had a good Christmas, Sam certainly looked very handsome in his Christmas hat haha!

Great idea Sylvia -- I feel like I've been flying too! I got lost for a while gazing at the Mt Ranier picture with the bloggy snowflakes falling down on it == that was perfect! And I hope your New Year is perfect too.

Your part of our world looks so pretty ! I hope you had a nice Christmas. Unfortunately the weather was a little grey in Amsterdam, so we only could go out once. Then it rained !

I loved reading HansuYin's books when I was in High School.

You like hers? Then she came to teach in the university where my husband taught, not at the same time.

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company.
