Evening, Wisdom, Beauty and Peace

Your present circumstances don't determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.

Another series with words of encouragement, which is much needed these days. Beautiful photos, too. Is that an apple tree in the 2nd shot?

Isn't it great when enjoying life means living for others. Life is a group project. Thanks for the celebration that this post is.

Great pics and an outstanding Einstein quote.

We're headed off to Idaho to see my Dad. Hopefully we'll drive over to Wyoming and see the Tetons.

I hope everything is going good with you.

Absolutely beautiful as usual. Your pictures and selections of quotes are so inspiring. I have been off line a lot lately, but hope to get back to active posting and commenting soon. We fly to SEA on the 16th of Aug and I cannot wait. We are going to need GOOD weather as my son and Buddy are heading out to hike a bit. genie

Your photos are absolutely wonderful, Sylvia, and I also enjoyed the smiles in the post below. The dog at the vet made me laugh out loud.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
