I'm not sure about the wheels of life Sylvia, I think when I'm seventy I might invest in a racy little sports number haha! The photos are absolutely delightful.

Wonderful post Sylvia! I hope to postpone the ride in the last wheels of life though!
I am back after a delay of 26 hours due to a typhoon in Hong Kong. We spent one night sleeping on the floor of the waiting area of the airport and one day talking to fellow passengers. Now I am going to have my mail sorted out. Thanks for your comment.

I like that first photo, a perfect vehicle since you don't have far to go! I can relate to most of the wheels of life, but haven't reached the last three yet. Have a great rest of the week and give Sam a pat from me and Socks!

According to the wheels of life, my best days are behind me! That was pretty funny! Love the photos!

Nice scenes, good words. I was explaining the concept of the rags-to-riches Horatio Alger story to a Brit some years ago, and they said, "Oh! Just like Samuel Smiles."

The wheels of life is so true, isn't it? I do hope to make the most of today.
Have a fabulous rest of the week, Sylvia.

I tried to figure out where I belonged in the timeline of wheels....I didn't like much where I ended up, but I do love your pictures.

I am still dashing around in an SUV, so I must have a loooooong way to go.

It's somewhat disheartening to see how far along I am with the wheels of life. Your photo of the horses against the setting sun is absolutely gorgeous.

Great post!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
