Dreams are renewable. No matter what our age or condition, there are still untapped possibilities within us and new beauty waiting to be born.

Excellent shot of the otters (?) Sylvia and a beautiful autumn sky. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Those otter things are sculptures, right? If not, that is a magnificent photo and you ought to enter it in a national photo contest. Love the reflection shot, too - it's unique what with that tornado-like cloud!

Glad you like Brownwood. It will change rapidly as new structures are built and more stores move in. The thing is it's about an hour away from where we live!

Hope your weekend is filled with all kinds of good stuffs!

The twin otters were a reflection onto themselves whether they were real or statues - real fun!

I'm very fond of the second picture, with this enormous cloud and the rain falling over there... The reflection is amazing.

I like also your first picture, les loutres c'est tellement chou, comme animal ! Ca me rappele cet épisode de la Belgariade où le magicien donne la parole aux loutres de la sorcière qui n'avait pas d'amis...

Wonderful shots and quotes Sylvia!
I love the way the big cloud is reflected in the water.

I've never been to Portland but it seems like a nice place to live. I hope your move goes smoothly. :)

Ha, I was not expecting otters, LOL!

The up swept clouds look like a volcano erupting and makes for a neat reflection!

Your first photo is a beauty and the accompanying quote is a favourite - I used it as the last quote in the book I made for my parents-in-love.
Hope you have a lovely week Sylvia.

The first shot is so cute! The sculptures look so real or maybe they are real because you captured them so well!

Wow! Thanks, Sylvia.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
