Evening, Wisdom and Beauty!!!

We are here to add what we can to life, not to get what we can from life.

I just love the images, Sylvia, especially the two sky ones. And the middle photo has a quote which is my life mantra! Hope you're having a great week. (Do you ever have winter/snow in Seattle? It always looks clear and warm there!) Greetings. Jo

A gorgeous sky with its beautiful clouds, a wonderful waterfall, and one awesome rainbow...beautiful. I am one of those who love William Osler and his approach to life. He was one fine man. At McGill University, there is a fabulous room in the library dedicated to him and all of his works as well as a building named for him. He is like the patron saint of that medical school. I actually made a trip to see the library. So memorable. genie

A really profound set of sayings today Sylvia, I agree with them all.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
