Let us all hold good thoughts for people in Connecticut who lost so much yesterday.
Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.

Love your shadow shots! I sat in my bedroom late one night trying to capture shadows on the wall! I felt like a fool but I finally got one or two that I liked.

That french press looks great in shadow - the ticket for a waking up cup of coffee. On the other hand, the duck moves serenely with the current - obviously, he did not have his coffee today and is not in a hurry...great shadowy post!

Someone is following that coffee pot! The first shot makes me feel there is fairy magic going on. http://looseleafnotes.com

Nice play of light and shadow. Our days are short now, with that low sun angle and snow on the hills, love the contrasts.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
