It seems that having friends helps one to live longer. But I would think the quality of one's friends is important, also. I mean, who wants to live longer if one is stuck with a bunch of dumb or mean friends? :-)
And I didn't realize that you were the youngest photo blogger. Wow! Congrats!
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.

these are beautiful, sylvia. all photos and quotes, too.
Wisdom and beauty seem to go hand in hand quite nicely.
Be well and happy, Sylvia.
Very nice! I like them all, but love all the shades of blue in the middle photo!
