Sylvia...The minute I started scrolling down through your shots I started thinking....where is the wine glass. I have only seen one this week in a photo. As always, your shadows are so fine. You must have windows at your place which are positioned perfectly for shadow shots. All it takes is a good eye and just the right light. You had them both. genie

There is so much going on for the eye to feast on. Dramatic, sweet and romantic. http://www.looseleafnotes.com/2013/01/a-tall-order/

Your home is no warm and inviting - the shadows of the decorations next to the printer is homey. Sam and Mojo are wonderful fellas that offer wonderful canine shadows from two great friends. All very nice!

as others are saying, your home looks so warm and inviting! I wish I were a close neighbor of yours so I could sit in the room of lovely shadows. :)
Ibsen's quote is right on target! One would be smart to remember it.

Beautiful mellow tones in your first photo highlighting the sharp shadows! And love your blushing glass shadow! But my favourite photo is of the dogs enjoying their shadowy verandah!

Great quotes. I have met and known wealthy people who are unhappy and miserable.

You find such wonderful shadows every week..it amazes me. Great quotes.

And I adore the new header -- recognize several of the people at that 'conference'.

What a fun heading. You got a new camera? Gee you must of hated that. Now that's a good son. He gets five quills.
I hope all is well in Sylvia's world. TC

I wonder what the shadows would look like if the incense sticks were smoking...

Dear Ms. K, I love all of these shots! The eye glasses in red strikes me, as do the sticks in the small bottle. Is that incense? Very nice.

Peace

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
