One Quiet Moment

There is a wonderful mythical law of nature that the three things we crave
most in life -- happiness, freedom, and peace of mind -- are always attained
by giving them to someone else.    Peyton Conway

It has been so long since I've seen a rainbow. I thought they had disappeared from the earth. Your shot is sososo pretty. Lovely colors radiating through the sky. It is snowing great guns here,,,cannot wait to get out tomorrow with the camera. genie

I think that you live in a fabulous place to see such wondrous skies, and that you have such a good eye and steady camera to capture them. Exquisite

I will have to contemplate this bit of wisdom. These gifts are not always easy to give.

A double rainbow! A wonderful sight for you indeed.
I think the same applies to love.

The quote is so true. The more happiness you give to others the more you get of the same...

Awesome rainbow :-)

Giving is the best we can do. It's been a while since I've seen a rainbow, that's lovely!

What a gorgeous rainbow photo! One of the best, Sylvia. And you go get around...I can imagine folks in Mumbai were amazed at finding a bottle with your picture on it!

Aww how lovely to see not only one but also a second rainbow in the making. The quote is a perfect fit.

Grandioso arcobaleno !
In Italia diciamo che dove finisce l'arcobaleno ci sia una pentola piena di oro nascosta nella terra.
Da voi ?
Baci Myriam :))

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
