Gorgeous shots. You live in a part of the world that I would love to visit again one day. I have been there three times now on vacations and always enjoy the ferry rides through the San Juan Isands. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend :)

I wish I could be on that island right now. I'd be as happy as a duck on a log. :-) What a beautiful shot!

Have a great weekend!

Hey Sylvia. I really like that first image. It reminds me of being out on the ocean here in Maine. I can't wait until the warm weather to be able to do that again. Happy weekend to you.

Hi Sylvia, love the ducks on the rocky island ledge. I've been away traveling around South Africa, but back home in Marquard now again and back on Blogger. YAY! Have a great weekend. Jo

Great photos and quotes... Love the one about happiness and joy, but I also love the one about a smile.

Great shots, I love the Smile is Curve quote. I visited a lot more SWF blogs yesterday since I was home sick, you are here there and everywhere spreading nice words to everyone.

Maybe they should have made you Pope? Or maybe Vice Pope.

Another pair of gorgeous photos! And thanks for your comment on The Villages. We do have some Sandhill Cranes in this area, but this crane working in Brownwood was much bigger and more impressive. Scary, though! :)

And I'm wishing for you a great weekend also!

Aha, duck and turtle reflections! My favorites, as you have often been told. LOL
I also love the quotation about a smile. As it is anonymous, I think I will borrow it, if you don't mind.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
