Near My New Home!!!

This is one of the incredible places near Portland -- the Columbia River and where all of my family will be gathering in September!! Can you see why I'm excited!!

Things have gotten a little busier than I expected, so I probably won't be online until next month when the move is completed, but I'll try to visit and keep you posted!!

May you all have a wonderful couple of weeks with lovely weather, beautiful skies, surrounded by love ones and lots of laughter!!

One of the advantages of being disorganized is that one is always having surprising discoveries. A.A. Milne

Amen, Amen, Mr. Milne!!!

Happy moving. I'm sure you're sad to be leaving Seattle after all these years, but your new home will be beautiful and welcoming!

What a vista. I've never been there, but now I think I should make the effort! Wow!

So glad things are underway and you have police protection! Celebrities like yourself tend to be hounded by the regular folks so this is a good thing! And they look pretty competent, too, if that photo is any indication. :)

Best wishes as you complete this much-awaited move to a new place and new adventures.

This is a pretty remarkable view. Since I don't like heights, how about I just stay back here and look at if on my computer screen?

I am looking forward to your spectacular post from this area. A dear friend in Portland took us to a lovely place by the sea where I saw my first American robin and red and purple sea stars.
Be very careful, I am already training to swim over the ocean to come visit you.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
