Great shots! I love the way light illuminates the conch shell!

the light through the shell sparks the memory of once having a TV light made of a conch! it's funny to remember thinking we needed such a light.
love the pastel vase reflecting and casting a shadow.

The conch shell is a beauty Sylvia, I bet that was one of the things that traveled with you to your new home right! Your new 4th of July header made me laugh, your friend in Mumbai has a wicked sense of humour haha!

You have the touch with shadows and with quotes. Have a great day Sylvia.

We are going to be gone all day tomorrow taking Logan to his summer camp in Texas.

I love the conch shell - the sun gives it a delightful opaque pink glow. The tablescapes of shadows are wonderful and warm - nice as always!

Do you ever listen to the sea in your shell?

Love that header!

Lovely glow through the shell! The light seems to pulse there! And love the soft play of shadow through the glassware.

I do like to see your 'pretties' and the way you have displayed them to catch the light. I too have my coloured glass on window sills and prisms hanging in the window to catch the early morning sun and fill my bedroom with rainbows.
Your pictures look very happy.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
