Our World!!!

Those who can laugh without cause have
either found the true meaning of happiness
or have gone start raving mad.
Norm Papernick

I enjoyed the park where my friends and I attented the concert last week, that I returned on another beautiful day just to get some more shots. Hope you enjoy them!

How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world. Anne Frank

Time for Our World again!! This is a wonderful way to find, see and enjoy the beauty, the fun, the good and even the not so good things about our world today and to share them!! Hope you will join us!!

That is a beautiful park, Sylvia. I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend - it's back to work tomorrow, and between work and chores I don't expect another day of rest until October.

Sylvia, that park is sprinkled with many gorgeous blooms of roses. What a lovely place!

How fun is it to have a week start on Tuesday rather than on a Monday!

Our World is now up and running - a little late - but we got there!

Funny that your first quote was about laughing because this is exactly what I did after seeing your face on a pizza in your header!

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
